Position Summary
The Chief Academic Officer (CAO) is the second officer of the university, serving as the Vice-President for Academic Administration. The primary function of the CAO serves to ensure that relevant academic activities contribute to the fulfillment of the university’s mission. This person carries broad responsibility for the university’s academic programs, goals, and excellence. The CAO reports to the President and is a member of the President’s Cabinet.

Position Summary
The Prospect Management Coordinator works closely with the Director of Development and the Major Gift Officers to coordinate a variety of activities related to fund raising including the identification and ranking of prospects and prospect tracking and management. The Prospect Management Coordinator will also, from time to time, prepare prospect profiles, progress reports and other materials to benefit the work of the Office of University Advancement and the work of fundraising by the development staff. This position does not have the flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications Summary
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum two to three years experience in prospect development a plus
- Solid knowledge of word-processing, database management and spreadsheet software, along with ability to navigate and use the Internet. Experience with large database management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, preferably in a non-profit environment, preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

INNOVATION - Industry Lab Coordinator

Position Summary
The Industry Lab Coordinator, part of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is responsible for developing and maintaining relations with external companies and organizations for the purpose of attracting project collaborations between them and Andrews University. This position oversees and collaborates with the Engineer-In-Residence position, part of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, to ensure proper management and delivery of only the industry project collaborations managed by the Industry Lab.

Position Summary
A Postdoctoral position is available at Andrews University to do research in space physics. Projects include wide-ranging phenomena at the Sun and planetary magnetospheres and ionospheres, including KH instabilities, solar wind-magnetosphere coupling, magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling, ionospheric scintillations, solar cycle and flare dynamics, plasma transport and circulation in the magnetospheres of the Earth, Jupiter, and Saturn. Our research is characterized by a strong integration of theory, modeling, and observations.
